Who Needs Dr. Phil? The alarm clock buzzed at 6 o’clock and his long arm hit the snooze. Dr. Wynn Russo eventually rolls out of bed, and his long 5’11 body makes its way to the bathroom. He brushes his teeth but does not brush his hair because he doesn’t see the point. He throws some scrubs on, hops in his white BMW, and zooms off to work. While at work he is not just a dentist, but a psychiatrist for his patients. Through giving advice on how to handle their life, he shows his own troubles and hardships in his life. Every day is a new story about something different than the day firstname.lastname@example.org
The Right Fit If you havent noticed, there are some changes being made around LSU. Some are in progress while others are being clompeted already. If you are someone studying late in the library you now get to enjoy security, and can finally use the men's restroom without fear of foot-tapping and open glory holes. These early improvements can be attributed to Lousiana State University's Student Body President Colorado Robertson. Working behind the scenes through long hours and tireless effort, it becomes apparent how much credit Colorado truly email@example.com
Second MomTo the over 100 members of Sigma Chi at LSU, Lorelle Verges, is the mother away from home. Some call her "Mom V" and some just call her "Mom" but either way she is the second mother to the members of Sigma Chi. Experience and knowledge was gained not just from years of living in the Sigma Chi house but from decades of raising her own children. Many members know who Mom is but few have had the opportunity to learn about her successful life. Philwestbrook1@yahoo.com
Italian Pie Anyone? Many college students have come and gone through the doors of Fleur-de-Lys pizzeria. Established in the 80’s it was set out to be a family place for families to come with their children. Their Pizzas have satisfied all types of customers over the years, from young kids, to college students, all the way to our grandparents. Hardly anyone leaves with a bad taste in their mouths and never come back. We ask ourselves. Who should get the credit for the amazing pizza that is served? We must look no further than the chef’s themselves. There is not just one chef that takes the credit for the pizzas but there is one that has a story to tell.
Mother, sister, daughter, chef, mentor, and now grandma, Mary Anne; she is a woman of many titles. She is a woman that does it all; and never misses a day to feed her Kappa Alpha boys. She works in the kitchen four and a half days a week from 9 am to 7 pm. Through thick and thin, changing seasons, and the hardest times, it seems she is always there. She never takes a day off of cooking for about one hundred frat boys. Let me tell you, it takes one hell of a woman to spend that much time putting up with that many frat boys. And that is what she is, one hell of a woman.
Why Complain? As we all know, Hurricane Katrina was one of the most disastrous storms to ever hit Louisiana. Many people suffered tremendously from the storm. A lot of the Louisiana natives stayed home for the Katrina thinking it was not going to hit Louisiana like the previous storms. These thoughts cause a lot of deaths and many of those people who survived suffered for days without food and had to get rescued from their roofs. Wendell Thompson, Jr. experienced the storm firsthand in his home in Slidell, La.firstname.lastname@example.org

But all of the long and gruesome schooling will pay off in the end for he soon will have achieved his life-long goal of becoming a nurse anesthesiologist. email@example.com

The Curiosity of Education“William, Are those bugs in this jar?” young Wischusen’s mother scolded loudly. “Yes mom, a skinny freckled faced kid, with a large grin said eagerly. Bill Wischusen grew up in the midst of an era of science. Growing up on a large farm in Idaho, Bill was always in tune with the sights and sounds of nature. The large open rows of finely cultivated soil, the crowing of roosters, the grazing of cows, the smells of fresh apple-pie in a wooden windowsill encased by a white picket fence. Not quite that picture perfect, but a rural farm upbringing played a large factor in Bill’s dream to one day become a science teacher. “I just loved nature I guess,” quoted Wischusen proudly. “I couldn’t help myself, I had to know everything, and tell as many people as I could.”email@example.com
multitasker? Beeeep! Beeeep! Beeeeep! is the sound that echoes throughout the small town apartment of Nancy Tran as she gets up before work. Her daily routine of waking up hours before work to get “beautified” is a must according to her. “Since work can be pretty long and stressful, I like to look good throughout the day. That way, if by the end of the day I look like a mess, at least it’s not gonna be as bad” Nancy is a dental assistant at a dental office in Houston. She also works the front desk as a receptionist and organizer “I pretty much do everything except pull the teeth from people’s mouths. My office is pretty dependent on me, and I’d like to keep it that way.”

A hero in her right.A skeleton is found in the depths of the earth. The bones are in dissaray. The smell of rotting flesh and bone hang in the air. The bones have been marred by animals and some pieces are unreconizable to the untrained eye. There is no way to possibly identify the decaying corspe. Dr. Ginesse Listi happens to be on of those physical anthropologist that can identify those rotting skeletons and bring peace to the families that have been missing them.DramaAngel22@yahoo.com
First in StateWith one goal in mind, thirteen year old Alex Turgeon never missed a single wrestling practice nor did he ever miss a wrestling meet. Freshman year, weighing only 112 pounds, he didn't do as well as he liked. He was not at all the best wrestler representing the Fisher High Gators, but he was definitely one of the most persistent. He would not give up; he would only work harder. Alex knew what he wanted, and had impeccable confidence that he would one day be the state champion.
Roller HockeyWhat is Roller Hockey? It is a lot like ice hockey except instead of playing on ice with ice skates, you play on a dry surface with inline skates. Roller hockey uses the same types of equipment as ice hockey. Though instead of a rubber puck, they use a plastic puck. This sport is a contact sport just like ice hockey, but it is not as intense. It is very popular in nearly 60 countries. In the game there is a goalie, two offensive players, and 2 defensive players. After learning about this sport I was shocked to find out that LSU has this sport, and decided that I wanted to learn more. I then found a hockey player to interview, Mike Smith. email@example.com

She is a woman of many titles. She is a mother to not only two of her own, but to over one hundred frat boys. She works in the kitchen four and a half days a week from 9 am to 7 pm. It seems as though she never misses a day at the Kappa Alpha house. She loves it there; she loves being with us. It is not a job to her but a way of life. It is a life she loves. I’ve never met a anyone who is this happy with life. She finds a way to make light of even the worst times like no one I’ve ever met.

Way To Stay YoungTo most it would seem that living in a fraternity house with over a hundred college boys would be hell, but for Ms. Annie it is the opposite. She is the housemother at the SigEp house and spends her days hanging out with boys she has grown to love. She does everything from helping with the food to cleaning up our messes which most would say is a terrible job, but to Ms. Annie it is her dream job. She gets to watch tons of young men develop and gets to be a part of it. She loves being around and never misses a chance to help out one of the guys. To her all the things she has to do around the house is worth the time and memories she has made with us. She would never give up spending her time with all the SigEp boys who she now claims as children.
